German Language Course
Die Sprachshule is a German language and skills training institute dedicated to preparing students for job opportunities in Germany. With the recent Germany-Kenya labor migration agreement, we offer A1–B2 German courses and language skills training to meet employment requirements abroad.Our programs are flexible, with both virtual and physical classes led by qualified instructors. Tuition includes study materials. We have four intakes every month
Overview
To complement our language programs, we also provide practical language skills training, tailored to meet the expectations of our German industrial partners. This ensures our graduates are not only proficient in German but also job-ready for technical roles abroad.
Here's an overview of key topics and concepts within German Language.
Level A1 - BEGINNERS - 2 Months
At A1 (Beginner) level, you can understand and use common words and simple phrases for everyday needs. You can introduce yourself and ask or answer basic questions about personal topics like family and home.
Communication is possible if the other person speaks slowly and is willing to help.
This level is typically reached after maximum of 3 months.
Course Fee: KSh. 20,000
Certifies that the student is able to communicate using the language in a basic way in situations having to do with immediate needs or everyday situations.
Level A2 - ELEMENTARY - 2 Months
At Elementary level, you can understand isolated phrases and common expressions. They relate to areas of high personal relevance (like personal or family information, shopping, immediate environment, work).
You can similarly communicate during easy or habitual tasks after taking our lessons. The tasks require a basic and direct information exchange on familiar subjects. Using simple words, you can describe your surroundings and communicate your immediate needs.
This level certifies that you can understand commonly used, everyday phrases and expressions. These relate to areas of experience especially relevant to you. This is to say basic information about themselves, and their families, shopping, places of interest and work.
This level is achieved after taking classes for 2 months.

Level B1 - INTERMEDIATE - 3 Months
After completing classes for Level A1 and A2, you are now an intermediate speaker. You can understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar subjects in work, school, leisure and activities. Moreover, you can manage in most situations that come up when travelling in a region where the language is spoken.
You can produce a simple and cohesive text in German on familiar subjects or subjects of personal interest. You can also narrate an event, an experience or a dream; describe a desire or goal, and outline reasons or explanations behind a project or idea.
This level certifies your capacity to understand the essence of clear texts, in standard language.
It also certifies your ability to deal with most situations that occur while travelling in areas where the languages are spoken. You can produce simple and coherent texts about familiar topics, or topics of personal interest.
Lastly, you can describe experiences, events, wishes and hopes, as well as to be able to briefly express opinions or explain your plans.
This level is achieved after taking classes for 3 months.
