After completing classes for Level A1 and A2, you are now an intermediate speaker. You can understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar subjects in work, school, leisure and activities. Moreover, you can manage in most situations that come up when travelling in a region where the language is spoken.

You can produce a simple and cohesive text in German on familiar subjects or subjects of personal interest. You can also narrate an event, an experience or a dream; describe a desire or goal, and outline reasons or explanations behind a project or idea.

This level certifies your capacity to understand the essence of clear texts, in standard language.

It also certifies your ability to deal with most situations that occur while travelling in areas where the languages are spoken. You can produce simple and coherent texts about familiar topics, or topics of personal interest.

Lastly, you can describe experiences, events, wishes and hopes, as well as to be able to briefly express opinions or explain your plans.
